Ernani é Praça
We are a group of residents of Alto de Pinheiros brought together by a simple wish: to cultivate spaces for living well. The initiative started among friends, mothers of young children, and today it has blossomed into something for the whole community.
Together, we have been turning Praça Ernani Braga into a place of togetherness for adults, children and animals, as well as a chance to be outdoors and in touch with nature in the middle of the city.

Improvement and upkeep of public space
- R$ 507,000.00 raised funded the first phase: a fenced area for pets and Ilha do Tesouro, a safe playground custom-built for the square, respecting the existing vegetation and inspired by what the neighborhood children themselves asked for.
- Born in 2021 from the initiative of three local residents, the project was built through community listening, resident surveys, technical planning and specialized partnerships.
- Three events have already brought together around 300 participants, strengthening bonds and bringing more life and belonging to the space.
